The Energy Economy and Runnability Management of the Paper Machines

I am pleased to have had the opportunity to present an article “Energy Management for Enhanced Productivity and Cost Reduction”, once again at the 49th International Annual Symposium DITP in Postojna, Slovenia, on November 16, 2023, alongside my esteemed coauthors, Mr. Ivan Jerbic and Mr. Mario Milosavljevic.
My sincere appreciation goes to the organizers for their exceptional coordination and for putting together a program filled with many captivating presentations.
The optimization of heat recovery systems and the careful balancing of airflows in the dryer section of PM3 at DS Smith Croatia, Belisce, played a pivotal role in achieving substantial energy savings. By capturing the high enthalpy of the moist exhaust air through heat exchangers and reintegrating it into the system, significant energy savings were achieved. This optimization not only resulted in reduced energy consumption but also contributed to a noteworthy improvement in paper production at the PM3 machine.”

IT’S ONGOING JOURNEY THAT REQUIRES DEDICATION AND A COMMITMENT TO CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT!
