25th INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM IN THE FIELDS OF PULP, PAPER, PACKAGING AND GRAPHICS June 10th – 12th 2024, Belgrade, Chamber of Commerce, and Industry of SerbiaThe 25th Jubilar International Symposium has successfully concluded. The event was excellently organized, bringing together numerous experts in the fields of pulp, paper, packaging, and graphics. The symposium featured a diverse area of presentations covering topics such as innovations, optimization, equipment, quality, sustainability, energy management, environmental protection, simulations, and automation in the paper industry.A highlight of the symposium was the final roundtable discussions, where participants shared their opinions and ideas on how to elevate the event to even greater levels. With over a hundred attendees, the symposium garnered strong support and influence, solidifying its reputation as one of the leading events in the paper industry in this region of Europe. Expectations were high, but the symposium successfully met all set goals.The three-day event concluded with a beautiful cruise titled “Cruise-get to know Belgrade from the rivers.” Preparations for next year’s symposium are already underway. Our team contributed two articles, showcasing the strong collaboration between industry and scientific institutions. We introduced new trends and the use of artificial intelligence in predicting the behavior and simulation of paper components to improve production, save energy, and maintain sustainability in paper manufacturing.
